Geri Bawden

Geri Bawden has over 30 years of experience of working in a healthcare setting and is a Registered Nurse Adult (1997) with a Diploma in Applied Health Studies (1997) graduating from UWE, Bristol. Geri specialises in Acquired Brain Injury and has experience in Community, Medical and Surgical nursing. After qualifying as a nurse it was clear to Geri that the community was where her interests lay and where she wanted to support individuals to achieve their maximum potential. Geri hast vast community nursing experience as both a Community Nurse within the NHS, and as a Practice Nurse in Private GP practice. Geri is passionate about supporting people in their own environment and thrives on supporting individuals to live as well and as independently as possible in their own environment despite any complex care need, illness or disability they may have. Geri has lived experience of ABI which enables her to approach clients and their families with both empathy and understanding
